Bastiaan Petermeijer speaks at the Science Night
Bastiaan Petermeijer was invited to talk at the opening of the Science Night in The Hague. The event, themed “super humans” was held in the atrium of the city Hall in front of 300 attendees. Bastiaan’s talk was part of the “science battle“, in which young researchers get the change to present their work. Bastiaan talked about the application of Haptic Shared Control in automated driving, arguing that current selfdriving technologies do not adequately take the human into account. His talk appealed to the audience and he won the battle.
