David’s Visiting Professorship at Valenciennes
At the IEEE SMC conference last year, David was invited by Chouki Sentouh as a visiting professor at the LAMIH lab at the University of Valenciennes, in France. In total he will spend a month there to set up a research collaboration in haptic driver support systems, employing their motion-based driving simulator SHERPA. At the same time, this is probably a good time to polish up his French.
